There are several ways of becoming involved in the Northern Light Theatre Company. These include becoming a cast member in a show, working front of house or backstage assisting with lighting, audio, costumes, makeup, props, administration, publicity or any other of the many areas associated with putting on a full musical production.

Cast members are decided from an audition process, the cast being chosen by the production team for a particular show.  Auditions will be notified periodically on this website and details about the different parts available for a show can also be downloaded from this site.

If you wish to volunteer for any of the offstage areas of production, then please contact our Volunteers Manager: Russell Ford. He will be happy to let you know further details about the offstage area that you are interested in helping with. If you have no current idea which area would interest you, then our Volunteers Manager will be happy to help you decide and may even be able to organise a visit while one of our shows is currently performing to help you decide.

It doesn't matter if you've never had any experiance with theatre. Come along and give it a go. You'll find that's it's a terrific way of meeting friendly people and having lots and lots of fun.
