Peter Johns
Musical Director

Peter has been living and breathing musical theatre for some time now. His first production as Musical Director was NLTC’s Once Upon A Mattress in 2005. Since then he has musically directed the award-winning Singin' in the Rain as well as Seussical and Urinetown for the Hills Musical Company. Other credits include: A Fractured G&S Trilogy, Grease, Witches of Eastwick, Sweeney Todd, Sound of Music, Little Shop of Horrors, Chicago, RENT (Associate Conductor) and City of Angels (Conductor).

Peter has recently expanded his involvement backstage in the roles of stage manager and continuity for a number of shows. In his “spare” time he is the secretary and Company Musical Director of NLTC.

Peter has recently formed his own production company, Irregular Productions, and will be staging his first production, Songs for a New World, in January 2011.
